Channel 2
Channel 2 broadcasts under the new franchise agreements period began on November 1st, 2005. Two franchise holders broadcast, dividing the week between them on a two-year rotational basis. As of 2010, Reshet-Noga broadcast from Sunday to Tuesday, and Keshet from Wednesday to Saturday. Israel Educational Television broadcasts on Channel 2 daily - Sunday to Thursday between 2 and 3 pm and between 5:30 and 6 pm, on Friday morning and afternoon and on Saturday between 11 am and 12:30 pm.
The channel’s news is produced and broadcast by the News Company - appointed by both franchisees. Channel 2 broadcasts 22-24 hours each day.
