Ombudsman
The ombudsman inquires complaints filed by the public, relating to television or radio broadcasts which are under the responsibility of the Second Authority. The ombudsman does not report to any function in the Second Authority and his acts and decisions are based on his professional judgment. The activities of the ombudsman are reported annually in a summarizing report.

The ombudsman operates as your representative in the Second Authority for Television and Radio.

Appeals in accordance with the Law of Freedom of Information

The Law of Freedom of Information (1998) states that every Israeli citizen or resident has the right to ask for information relating to the activities of any public body. The law lists the types of information to be disclosed to the public and the manner in which it should be disclosed. Requests in accordance with this law can be forwarded to the following e-mail address: doveret@rashut2.org.il

Requests for information in accordance with this law are published in the annual reports of the Second Authority.
